Northside CIS receives a large number of queries from people seeking legal advice.

Often people want to know whether they are entitled to free legal aid and how and where to apply for it.

Typical legal queries include obtaining barring orders, divorce and separation, custody of children, rights of cohabiting couples; wills and probate; claims for injuries caused on business property; ownership of the family home;

Northside CIS works closely with the Northside Community Law Centre, which holds a weekly free legal advice clinic on a Thursday evening between 6pm and 7.30pm . The clinic is run on a first come first seen basis and there is no appointment necessary.
